Lightner Creek Campground is a family campground in Durango, Colorado comprising 27 acres within a beautiful mountain setting...complete with a seasonal mountain stream. Joe & Cheryl Amorelli have had the pleasure of living on Lightner Creek and owning the campground since 1986.
Our location is a great base-camp for your stay in the Four Corners area. We are just minutes from the Durango & Silverton Railroad depot and downtown shopping. The Animas River has guided river rafting trips for the entire family. There are stables in the area that will take you on horseback trail rides into the local mountains. Mesa Verde National Park is west of us by 30 miles. There is so much to see and do...Durango is your destination-vacation.
