Lightner Creek Campground is a family campground in Durango, Colorado comprising 27 acres within a beautiful mountain setting...complete with a clear mountain stream. The Campground is owned by Joe & Cheryl Amorelli. We spent two years touring the 48 states with our truck and trailer & have come to know what campers appreciate.

Our location is a great base-camp for your stay in the Four Corners area. We are just minutes from the Durango & Silverton Railroad depot and downtown shopping. The Animas River has guided river rafting trips for the entire family. There are stables in the area that will take you on horseback trail rides into the local mountains. Mesa Verde National Park is west of us by 30 miles. There is so much to see and do...Durango is your destination-vacation.
